OK. So the "Fairness" Doctrine has been dredged up again in an effort to silence critism of the Left and Democrats. The report, "The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio" is in and aparantly conservative radio makes up 90% of all talk radio. Too few mega-corporations controlling too many local stations. Not one of those "mega-corporations" could claim
33% of the market and ergo influence like French corporation Vivendi does in thier ownership of Universal Music. The average talk radio listener is an adult who is more than willing to change the station when Sean Hannity won't stop talking about himself, or when Dennis Prager is doing his "Happiness Hour" or Rush is on vacation. However minors are less likely to realize that they are being bombarded by suggestive lyrics and anti-american diatribes by many of Vivendi's roster stars. Yet no one is screaming for regulation here.
